Earn your GED at Clay Pots
It is never too late to think about your education. Earning your GED is a great way to get on the path to a better career, college degree, or becoming a life-long learner. Clay Pots' education center has many services to help you meet your education goals.
Clay Pots offers free GED classes that meet twice a week in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. Fall Session begins in September.
The GED test is made up of four subjects, Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. Clay Pots' GED classes will allow you to learn and develop skills in all four areas that will prepare to pass the subject tests. Some students may qualify for one-on-one tutoring and official practice testing.

Our workforce team will help you will interview skills, resume development, job searches and more. During your session, you will have access to our computer lab and a coach to help you through the process.

Getting Enrolled
The first step to getting into a class is visiting Clay Pots for a placement test. Placement testing is available by appointment only.

Each placement tests consist of a reading and math section and they can typically be completed in an hour.

Become A Tutor
If you're looking for a way to get involved or give back and have a passion for education, consider becoming a volunteer GED tutor.
Tutors work one-on-one with students at Clay Pots to help them develop their skills in math, science, language arts, and social studies.
No background in teaching is required. Just a patient motivated personality and some background knowledge of the GED subject areas.
